Street Food, Weapons & World Peace

Ever noticed that whenever there is street food involved, everyone is suddenly super friendly? I mean it might also be because of free food but that’s a different story.

I mean just looking at India, streetfood is something that connects us all, you would not see one person unhappy about the chatpata, incredibly cheap but amazing food that you can find in every corner of a road. Bonus, there’s so much variety! Why do you think we, as generally loud, strongly opinionated people, have been able to refrain from ripping each other’s throats out on a good Sunday evening?

That’s right my friend, it’s because of street food.

Now, street food is the mantra to hypnotize and befriend anyone – food is something that brings everyone together you know… the variety, culture and the masalas just seep into your bloodstream. With that euphoric feeling, how can you ever be mad at someone during eating it or right after?

The logical application being that, in a scenario where you are face to face with someone with guns blazing and someone offers you street food, you would obviously take up the offer (reference to not denying free food) and just enjoying it, feeling that serenity and pure serotonin rush with your archnemesis on just how good it is, creates an amazing bond. It would be virtually impossible for you to put down your plate of chaat and go back to shooting someone … that’d be crazy (and immoral, no one disrespects food like that)!

So all i’m saying is, Ukraine vs. Russia war could be solved if we just gave the leaders some street food, hell, put all the world leaders in a room together with all kinds of street food, and world peace would be achieved!

Knitted – law & justice

Pin up the evidence,

it’s proof against those who are dense.

Its a sight to behold,

a sense of a torturous chokehold.

Scenic views only cover so much,

the false reassurances tip-off too much.

Street full of people,

the public prosecution making you seem feeble.

Hell for those who are far and few,

leaving the smallest things for them to stitch and sew.

A trap of a false sense of security,

dissatisfaction from the locality made abnormality;

Disdain and disappointment is a plague,

reasons to torment are left vague.

Those who suffer, brawl…

those who are to blame, crawl.

A stitched together narrative…

left for comfortable perception, a tragedy sealed as comparative.

MONEY, POVERTY AND POLITICS

How does the Gandhi Family use their money?

Here is a controversial debate: 5 of the richest men in the world have more money combined than the rest of the world.

But for now, lets forget the rest of the world and focus, specifically on India. Here, the most prominent, infamous and controversial political figures include the Gandhi family; in more recent years allegedly corrupt too.

This family’s most recent heir to the congress throne comes in the form of Rahul Gandhi, and he makes crores of money every single year heck even month… although, does he slave himself for all that money? Of course not. He is literally the adult version of a spoiled mama’s boy who thinks that mangos are made in factories. His words, not mine.

Anyhow, we are not going to look at the corruption that his royally messed and dethroned family has done over years in history or even their more scandalous past, present and future; we are going to look at how much money in closest approximation they make and how they choose to use it (spoiler alert: of course, it’s for their own lifestyle of rich brats).

We’ll start with the facts, or rather most accurate info that can be found on this family (they are the Indian version of the Kardashians).

We shall start with our very own Sonia Gandhi! A mother of two, seemingly apolitical past, living her life with the Italians at first with a prime minister for a husband. A perfect life of luxury, family and money for a while, until…. It all goes upside down! (dun dun dun)

Her husband dies, she becomes a single mother but also politician. Throws out her life with Italy and soon devotes her life to India and its politics! Oh, and look, her net worth rises to a whopping 11.82 crores!

Not only this, in 2014 an affidavit that was filed during the general election shows that Sonia had declared assets worth 9.81 crore rupees with 2.81cr to movable properties and 6.47cr to immovable properties. I don’t know about you, but I think that is a lot of money. Furthermore, rumour has I that as of 2020 Sonia Gandhi holds the keys to a chest full of money laundering from china. Bizarre, but would not be a surprise considering her late husband and his family especially being involved in numerous money corruption busts.

Let us move on to her favourite child, Rahul Gandhi, more famously known as pappu Gandhi. His known personal assets according to the 2019 affidavit filed for the general Lok Sabha election show assets worth 14.85cr, 4.85cr more than the 2014 affidavit. In addition, he made an income of 1,11,85,570 in 2017-2018! Oh, and a personal loan from his mother for 5 lakhs, self-acquired assets 8.75 crores and deposit of 17 lakhs in various banks.

Now here is the thing, we do not know how much more money he holds or if all of this is his mommy’s money, however it is still heck of a lot of money, considering if he works or not.

And the last of all, Priyanka Gandhi, a.k.a sort of the black sheep of the family because of her lack in political interest but she still makes loads of money. If her brother and mother make so much money each year and own so much of it, she does too. Some statistics: Earns approximately 33cr every year, net worth- 450 crores, lives in a house worth 85 crores (and recently bought another in Gurugram) and owns 5 cars all worth 4.1cr at least.

We can see how solely 3 members of the family own so much money that they can practically buy whatever (or whomever) they want.  So, where do they put this money? This question has many alleged answers, but fundamentally we can narrow It down to personal luxury, politics and corruption. That is an amazing way to spend it isn’t it?

Sure, for them and for all other rich, high throne people that look down on the measly plebeians that are middle class and are dying due to poverty.

Poverty, the main issue plaguing all of India and the major excuse for foreign countries to frown upon our nation. An issue that can be solved with only a good sum and support. Why would people like Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka spend their money, time and effort on the poor when they are living lavish lives without a care in the world?  They can simply watch while literally 88 million people of the country suffer and slave to give them what they want.

The money that Priyanka has spent on cars and bungalows could vastly eradicate a huge chunk of poverty from India; with 105.5 crores literally, millions could be out of poverty.

This is not just the Gandhi family even though the main example mentioned here is them. What matters is how collectively every rich, privileged minister could donate crores to charity and it still would not put a scratch in their bank accounts yet eradicate poverty from 88 million individuals in a single country.

It is not important how much money you make but rather how you choose to use it.
